In this penultimate episode of the Dismantling Sinful Logic series, the guys list and define different types of fallacies, including Red Herring, Straw Man, Ad Hominem, and Appeal to Tradition or Authority. They unpack why these fallacies are types of sinful logic and how Christians can easily spot and refute them. They bring up several Biblical and real-world examples of these fallacies, noting that they stem all the way back from Satan's sinful logic against Eve in the Garden of Eden. Most importantly, they analyze ways that Christians can refute this sinful logic by following the examples of Jesus and Paul, who were expert logicians. Follow along as they engage in a very practical conversation that is sure to help listeners handle logical fallacies in a God-honoring way. Fallacies are enticing and deceptive, so it is vital for Christians to be keenly aware of their dangers and equipped to dismantle them.
